Start your weekend off right with Katherine Hangeland as she leads you through a 1-hour, all levels welcome, beginner friendly, Vinyasa Yoga class.
Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga in which your movement is synchronized with your breath. Katherine will guide you to inhale or exhale from pose to pose. We’ll stretch and relax your tight muscles. You will leave class feeling refreshed and renew.
This class is appropriate for all ages, especially great for those having tight shoulders and lower back pain.
What to Bring: A yoga mat (if you have one), small towel, and bottle of water.
Katherine Hangeland’s Bio:
My love for yoga was rekindled in 2014 after moving across the country from New Hampshire. Looking for a sense of normalcy after relocating 3,000 miles, I started practicing at Yoga @ Cindy’s and eventually joined their Volunteer front desk staff. Eventually, the highlight of my days became the hours I could find to spend on my mat and I made the change from my corporate tech job to Studio Manager in November 2016. I was excited to complete my 200-hour teacher training in the same place that I have called my yoga home and, now, my workplace.
I love yoga for the awareness and mindfulness it has brought into my life and I hope to bring those same qualities into every class I lead. Connecting mind, body, and breath is a powerful and empowering tool that can impact your whole life.
